You must know a lot of pregnant people, or you love knitting bibs and burpcloths. And why wouldn't you - they are Lovely. Question - would making the side with the button on it a bit longer and adding another button give it a little more longevity? Or is it plenty big anyway? Asking out of interest.
Very nice:) I was eying some baby stuff too, namely, EZ's Tomten. Now, if I could only find my 'Knitting Without Tears.' Want to buy Opinionated Knitter, so I can knit 'Baby Surprise Jacket.' Will have to order, I think.
Susannah -- Not sure re the bibs lasting. I don't have any data on that yet. But they're pretty big. I would guess if you wanted to use them for a longer period of time, it would be more practical to keep it the same size and add a second buttonhole a couple of inches further in.
Angela -- If all you want is the Baby Surprise pattern, you don't need to buy the whole book. You can get the pattern directly from Schoolhouse Press as a one-off. $3, American.
Might just be a "bunch of garter stitch", but it is very pretty garter stitch! I love the colours!
